Born out of necessity, the Layerform Precision Target Chassis transforms the classic Keystone Arms Crickett® "My First Rifle" into a modern, modular, small-frame rimfire platform. Designed as an adaptable trainer for new shooters or a highly compact benchrest platform for experienced marksmen, this chassis brings modern precision ergonomics and modularity to a classic bolt-action design.

Now available in 11 color options, you can choose the look that best fits your setup while getting the same purpose-built chassis design and functionality.

Modular Adaptability

Picatinny Stock Interface: Accepts a wide variety of rear Picatinny-style stocks, allowing you to customize and adjust the length of pull to fit different shooters and shooting positions.

M-LOK Forend: Integrated M-LOK slots allow for direct mounting of bipods, tripods, barricade stops, and other compatible accessories, providing a stable and adaptable platform for practicing shooting fundamentals.

Drop-In Integration: Designed specifically around the Crickett action for straightforward installation, transforming the factory stock setup into a rigid, modern platform.

Durable ASA Construction

Printed from high-performance ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate), this chassis is built from a strong, durable engineering-grade material known for its toughness and excellent resistance to UV, weather, and temperature.

While this new version moves away from our original PA12-CF construction, ASA remains a strong and rigid material well suited for demanding range use. The result is a durable chassis designed to handle the bumps, handling, and repeated use that come with training and regular shooting.

Compact Precision Platform

The Crickett's compact size makes it an excellent platform for both new shooters and experienced marksmen looking for a highly maneuverable rimfire setup.

When paired with the LP Elite Modular Picatinny Stock, the chassis provides an adjustable length of pull from approximately 11.75" to 13.5"+, allowing you to tailor the rifle to the shooter.
